Vedica Centre for Leadership

A platform for research and institutional learning

The Centre for  Leadership is Vedica’s research and institutional engagement platform. It focuses on understanding how work, leadership and opportunity are designed, and how these systems shape women’s careers over time.

Drawing on Vedica’s decade-long engagement with women across career stages, the Centre brings evidence, lived experience and analysis into conversations that influence organisations, policymakers and educators.

What the Centre Focuses On

The Centre examines women’s participation and leadership through a systems lens, with attention to how institutions evolve.

Women’s sustained participation across roles, sectors and career stages.

Work systems that support growth through life and career transitions.

How the unequal distribution of care responsibilities shapes women’s participation, continuity and progression across their careers.

Leadership models that account for lived experience and structural barriers.

Organisations that examine how power and opportunity are distributed and act on what they learn.

The Global
Case Study Library

The Global Case Study Library is a flagship project of this centre and it addresses critical gaps in how women’s leadership is represented as well as taught in higher education.

Within 5 years, we will ensure 25% of global case studies feature women protagonists.
Get in touch to know more about the cases in the pipeline, to recommend a protagonist or to get access to the ready cases for your institution.
